:: Anthem Australian Shepherds

Thank you for visiting our home on the web.

My goal is to produce Australian Shepherds that are a living example of

the written standard, with an amicable and biddable

temperament, as well as rescue and place homeless dogs in need.

Welcome to our home on the web!  Anthem Australian Shepherds technically began when I was much younger and obtained my first Aussie Rio (my heartdog), but we did not apply for ASCA Kennel Recognition until 2007.  As a child, I always had a passion and natural niche' for dogs, and as I grew, so did my ambitions to become successful in many areas of training and competition, as well as offer my services to rescue work.  We take great pride in all of our animals and strive to produce and exemplify what the breed standard depicts as the ideal specimen of the breed.  I would first like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Heidi Mobley of Western Hills Australian Shepherds and Mrs. Donna Wattenbarger of Risin' Moon Australian Shepherds for both taking me under their wing and teaching me all that they have!  If it were not for the two of you, my knowledge of this wonderful breed would've remained limited and I would not have made it as far as I have today.  I would also like to thank Dorothy Montano of Los Suenos Australian Shepherds for her continued support and breeding my first competitive aussie, Tabby (who can be seen on the following pages.)  Lastly, I'd like to thank Leona Stabler, Renee Lacey, and Steffany Jay for teaching me the ropes, both highs and lows, of what it takes to be involved in rescue.  My hats off to you, ladies.

I was first introduced to the world of agility and conformation as an 11 year old girl through the Junior Handling rings and never looked back.  I have several extremely successful dogs that I am blessed to own. Now that time permits, I have also finally been able to devote much of my efforts into rescue.  I am the Texas Rescue Representative for Aussie Rescue & Placement Helpline (ARPH) and a Foster Home for Border Collie Rescue of Texas (BCRT). I currently work a Veterinary Technician with Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) and reside in Denton, TX.

My other dog-related interests include helping out with Heidi & Donna's photography Business, 2MC Design, and learning how to perfect my training, grooming, and handling skills.  Please feel free to browse the following pages, and check out our available page for any potential rescues, puppies, or adults looking for their forever homes!  Thank you for stopping by, and please check in regularly!
